Video/Action Inc. is a small, woman-directed, nonprofit video production company founded in 1990 by Emmy Award-winning producer Robin Smith. We provide a full spectrum of creative and technical services, from concept development through delivery of broadcast-quality dub masters and packaging artwork for VHS and DVD dissemination of completed programs.

Over the last 18 years, Video/Action has produced more than 200 educational television programs, training videos, and informational shorts on a wide range of topics including homelessness, women's health, community-based arts and education initiatives, crime victimization issues, and violence prevention. Our work has received an array of awards, including a CPB Gold Award For Excellence In Documentary Television Programming, four local Emmy Awards, dozens of CINE Golden Eagles, Telly Awards, Auroras, Omnis, Peer Awards, Gold Apples (from the National Education Media Network) and CINDY Awards. Segments have been broadcast on ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, BET, FOX, COURT TV, and The Learning Channel.
